In April of 2023 Competence Centre – STOS by Gdansk University of Technology has been officially opened and the ‘monster-computer’ named KRAKEN started.
During the inauguration Arch-Deco received an award for its involvement with this work.
We are very proud of this project and even more grateful for every person involved in achieving this accomplishment.

Headquarters of Logistics of Reynaers Alluminium by S8 expressway in Przeszkoda in Żabia Wola county has received an honourable mention in category of storage – logistics developments of Prime Property Prize 2023. The HQ office site has been designed by Arch-Deco. Thank you for this distinction and we truly congratulate the investor – Panattoni and the general constructor – CFE.

In August of 2022 took place XII edition of Gdynia’s Architecture Weekend.
This year’s programme involved 2 of our architects – Jerzy and Weronika.
Under Jerzy’s guidance the participant of the event had opportunity to take a walk through our newly-opened estate Yacht Park in Gdynia.
Whereas Weronika showed her numerous talents at ‘archi-lectures’ by presenting the winning design of international competition “The Underhill Experience – Iceland Volcano Coffee Shop’ created in duo with an architect Wiktor Stankiewicz.
Congratulations from whole ArchDeco Team to Weronika and Wiktor for 1st place in the competition.
And a big Thank you to Jerzy for bringing closer on of our proudest design – Yacht Park – to the participants of Gdynia Architecture Weekend

Zbigniew Reszka, co-owner of our office, and Marek Frania – creative director, were guests at the Architecture Weekend in Gdynia on August 26-29, 2021.
As part, of the panel “Archi feeling, humility of the place – humility of space”, in which they took part, the condition and goals of architecture in a post- pandemic reality were considered, with particular emphasis on respect for the context of the place.

Zbigniew Reszka as head of Jury in XVIII edition of a architectural competition “Polish Cement in Architecture” Award ceremony was hosted in the SARP (Polish Architects Association) headquater in Warsaw
During 25th anniversary celebrations of Tricity Academic Computer Network (TASK) Zbigniew Reszka gave a lecture on the topic of newly designed building of the IT Centre of Gdansk University of Technology. For this project Zbigniew Reszka was awarded Gdańsk University of Technology medal.
Magical atmosphere of Christmas finally descended upon Arch-Deco studio. This year our Christmas Party took place in Culinary Academy K5 in Gdynia. For one afternoon we traded the architect’s profession for a culinary career – we’ve changed office work and creative design for a collective preparation of festive dishes. A dash of creativity, a pinch of good humor and a drop of good wine is a perfect recipe for an unforgettable evening, especially if spent in such a wonderful company!
Like every year we have competed in Regatta of Architects. Rivalry is not a stranger to our daily lives, therefore we fought tenaciously for the title. After a relentless battle our Sea Dogs achieved, in The Steadfast Race, maybe not the first but a respectable fourth place in the competition. A perfect ending to this event was the bonfire, where all the teams danced and chanted together.
Once again, starting from 2010 ( 15th edition ), the co-founder of our architectural studio Arch-Deco Zbigniew Reszka was asked to join the jury of the competition “Polish Cement in Architecture”
Almost seventy participants competed in Golf Archi Cup 2017. The sport rivalry ended with a ceremony during which Zbigniew Reszka, the co-founder of Arch-Deco, presented prizes to the winners of the tournament.
Arch-Deco proposition won the competition for developing architectural and urban concept for Centrum STOS building (Smart and Transdisciplinary knOwledge Services) together with technological solutions for IT Centre of Tricity Academic Computer Centre. The competition was organized by Gdańsk University of Technology. STOS CI TASK building is a high tech building. It serves as a multidisciplinary data processing center in accordance with worldwide standards. The building is equipped with the highest level of security of archiving data sets. Simultaneously the building was adapted for the needs related to scientific research, didactics and provision of network, computing and expert services of the computing cloud.
The building was especially designed to be integrated into the hill located on an axis of the historic main GUT building in an area under conservation protection. The architecture meets very complex technological and conservational requirements and with its public park it creates a space for rest and recreation.
